maincubes, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, develops and operates a network of highly efficient data centers across Europe. maincubes offers carrier-neutral, highly secure, and sustainable IT infrastructure capacities, creating a secure ecosystem for the digital future of its customers, including companies from various industries and the public sector. Over the next few years, maincubes plans to invest more than €1 billion in new data centers.
YOU WILL SUPPORT US BY:
  • Being responsible for the operation, maintenance, and adjustment of all technical systems and equipment, including:
    • Cooling systems
    • Uninterruptible power supply systems
    • Electrical cable systems
    • Network cabling
    • Fire protection, detection, and suppression
    • Temperature and climate control
    • Managing building management and control systems
  • Handling incident management via the ticket system
  • Providing technical leadership for security service and facility management staff
  • Overseeing projects to update the infrastructure
  • Managing service providers (service and maintenance)
  • Closely collaborating with the Data Center Manager and acting as their deputy
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Completed qualification, e.g., as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Mechanic, Technician, or IT Specialist in the operation of data centers or in process-oriented industrial/production areas, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in defining and providing technical solutions for facility management
  • Independent working style, good communication skills, and a high level of self-responsibility
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience in data center resource planning
  • Process-oriented working approach
  • Fluent in German and English – at least B2 level
  • Willingness to undergo an official security clearance before starting work
  • Residence in Berlin or Brandenburg
