DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Head of Project & Asset Sourcing, you are the driving force behind our growth strategy. Your passion for the search, evaluation, and acquisition of suitable properties and existing data centers, both domestically and internationally, your strategic vision, and your experience make you the perfect candidate for this position.
Your responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility for the Project & Asset Sourcing division, especially in acquiring new properties and data center projects.
- Building and leading an effective Sourcing Team.
- Assisting the CEO and the management in identifying, analyzing, and acquiring new properties and data center projects.
- Developing and maintaining networks with relevant stakeholders within the industry to explore new business opportunities.
- Conducting market and competition analyses and identifying potential acquisition targets while evaluating them for "Strategic Fit."
- Collaborating closely with the technical planning management team and external consultants to ensure successful analysis, evaluation, acquisition, and integration of acquired properties or data center projects.
- Supporting the execution of acquisition/M&A processes for identified projects, including related due diligence examinations.
- Preparing and facilitating the handover of completed transactions to the development team.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed degree in business administration, law, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in strategic and commercial analysis as well as real estate acquisition, ideally in the specialty real estate or data center industry.
- In-depth knowledge of asset and company valuations (preferably in the data center environment), due diligence, and contract negotiations.
- Leadership experience and a proven ability to build, develop, lead, and motivate a small to medium-sized team.
- Experience in establishing departments, structures, and workflows.
- Experience in creating reports, reports, and analyses.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Hands-on mentality and strong communication skills to convince interlocutors in personal conversations with practical solutions.
- Structured, independent work approach combined with a proactive work style and high social competence.
