The German data centre operator maincubes now holds the “IT Security made in Germany” trustmark, launched by the TeleTrusT – IT Security Association Germany. The prerequisite for using the “IT Security made in Germany” trustmark is the voluntary commitment to five main criteria: the company headquarters must be in Germany, the company offers trustworthy IT security solutions, the solutions must not contain any concealed back doors, research and development takes place in Germany, and German data protection law is observed.

With its new data centre in the Rhine/Main metropolitan area, maincubes is championing security according to German standards and in the sense of “IT Security made in Germany”. With its “Plus Services”, the data centre operator goes far beyond the market standard and offers colocation with added security. Together with its strategic partners, maincubes has developed the comprehensive SecureExchange platform, which provides particularly secure and efficient environments for connectivity and cloud services. Via a secure connection to the maincubes computer centre in Amsterdam, the SecureExchange platform is also available to customers at the local Internet hub there.

“The voluntary commitment in the sense of ‘IT security made in Germany’ gives our customers and partners the certainty that they have made the right decision not only for classic colocation operations, but especially in relation to security”, says a delighted Oliver Menzel, CEO of maincubes.
