IoT is booming – 94% of companies are already dealing with this topic, or they are planning to do so. More than half of them see IoT as the basis for new interconnected products and data-based business models. Also interesting: 80% of the respondents stated that they are already part of a digital eco-system or that they are currently building their own network.

In addition, the study shows which goals companies have with IoT technologies, especially concerning the platform sector, how connected devices within companies actually are, and which IoT mix companies will rely on in the future.
