White paper: Giving digitalization the green light

Drought, record-breaking heatwaves, and flooding are just some of the extreme weather events linked to climate change, and they are becoming genuine threats. We have to take action now to address the factors that are having a negative impact on our environment. In 2015, the international community of states in the United Nations set out their ambitions for sustainable ecological and social development in Agenda 2030. The result is a catalog of 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) which balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, environmental and social.

This white paper addresses the actions that can be taken by digitalization stakeholders such as data center operators to achieve and implement specific SDGs. It covers seven of the 17 Agenda 2030 SDGs that are particularly relevant for IT.
