The maincubes company headquarters in Frankfurt and its data center in Schiphol-Rijk/Netherlands are now both certified as compliant with ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

The data center in Offenbach was certified back in August 2018. Now maincubes has passed two further certification audits with flying colors. An independent TÜV Saarland auditor confirmed that the company’s infrastructure and technology, as well as its services, processes and personnel, meet the very highest security standards. All contractual and legal requirements and guidelines for data protection and data and information security are fulfilled, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data center services provider now delivers “German-engineered” data security across all its sites.

“Security is our number one priority because we want our customers to feel confident that their data and servers have a truly secure home. The ISO certification is further confirmation to customers and partners that they can depend on maincubes’ strong commitment to security. We’re very happy to have completed the certification process for our entire network so quickly, and to have consolidated our reputation as a pioneer in high-security and high-performance data center services,” commented Albrecht Kraas, CTO of maincubes.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an established information security certification that indicates a data center’s excellent reliability and compliance with maximum security standards.  maincubes’ differentiated security concept covers both IT and physical security. The maincubes data centers additionally have multi-stage biometric access controls, surveillance cameras, motion sensors, a redundant and uninterruptible power supply, state-of-the-art fire protection concepts, an innovative passive cooling system with KyotoCooling and a 24/7 security service.
