In September 2022, maincubes was able to win DTCP Infrastructure as a new strategic partner and investor. maincubes plans to invest more than €1 billion in new datacenters over the next few years.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In this role, you will lead complex building technology infrastructure projects in data centers valued up to 5 million euros (electrical engineering, cooling, metalwork, security, access, video, etc.).
• You will be responsible for infrastructure projects until they are handed over for operational use.
• This includes budget management and coordination of local engineering teams.
• Additionally, you will identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Monitoring projects for technology, timelines, costs, and quality is also part of your responsibilities.
• You will be in charge of contracting and overseeing suppliers and monitoring external contractors.
• You will serve as the primary operational interface with the customer, addressing their daily operational requirements.
• Together with the team, you will optimize both operational and rollout processes.
• Last but not least, you are enthusiastic and motivated, and occasionally, you will take on tasks outside your area of expertise to support the operations team in daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You began your professional career with a technical or business-related bachelor’s degree or possess a comparable education.
• You bring initial knowledge of data centers and the processes involved.
• You have initial experience in project management and a desire to lead and oversee rollout projects.
• You have an interest in areas such as colocation, networking, cloud computing, IoT, and IT security, and you have already gained some initial experience in these fields.
• You are fluent in both German and English, with a high degree of personal responsibility, results orientation, and effective communication skills – all of these are not foreign concepts to you.
• For you, there are no problems, only new challenges.
• A fundamental willingness to travel and strong computer skills complete your profile.
