DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You manage complex building technology infrastructure projects in data centers worth up to 5 million euros (electrical engineering, cooling, metal construction, security, access, video, etc.).
• You are responsible for infrastructure projects from concept to handover to operations.
• You obtain quotes and prepare cost-benefit analyses.
• You manage the budget and coordinate local engineering teams.
• You identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and manage them.
• You monitor projects in terms of technology, timelines, costs, and quality.
• You are the primary operational interface with the customer.
• You engage and supervise suppliers and monitor external contractors.
• You support the operations team in day-to-day operations.
• You address customer requirements in daily operations.
• You collaborate with the team to optimize operational and rollout processes.
• You are interested and motivated and occasionally take on tasks outside your field of expertise.
• You integrate positively into the team with your open and communicative nature and are always available as a contact person for your colleagues’ questions.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a degree in engineering, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable education.
• You have basic knowledge of data centers and their underlying processes.
• You have some experience in project management and are interested in controlling and monitoring rollout projects.
• You have an interest in areas such as colocation, networking, cloud computing, IoT, and IT security, and have gained some initial experience.
• You have good computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).
• You are fluent in both German and English.
• You work with a high degree of personal responsibility and results orientation.
• You see challenges rather than problems.
• Your strong communication skills set you apart.
• You are willing to travel as required.
