Milestones
Q3/2024
Start of construction (phase 1)
Building begins at the Schwalbach site near Frankfurt, and our plans start to become reality. We lay the foundation for another maincubes data center in the heart of Europe: FRA03.
Q1/2025
Start of phase 2
The second construction phase gets underway. We expand FRA03 and create enough additional capacity to be able to cope with tomorrow’s demanding computing needs.
Q1/2026
End of phase 1
The first phase of construction is over. The building is now ready to be used – it provides the optimal infrastructure for your digital business model.
Q3/2026
End of phase 2
1 + 2 = FRA03. Both construction phases are completed. With its full capacity, FRA03 enables flexible, sustainable and high-performance colocation solutions.

SUSTAINABILITY
In harmony with the environment
FRA03 is not only green on the outside, but also on the inside. Secured by a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), our new data center obtains 100 % of its electricity from renewable energy sources. We are constantly working to maximize the energy efficiency of our data centers, which is reflected, among other things, in our planned EMAS certification.
We feed the heat generated during the operation of FRA03 directly into a local heating grid for further use, thereby achieving the most efficient energy cycle possible. Such a high degree of sustainability is only possible through close cooperation with local stakeholders.
