maincubes has achieved significant progress in its ESG performance in recent years – including EU Taxonomy alignment for two data centers and receiving the EcoVadis Silver Medal. These achievements are not driven by ambition alone; but by consistently translating strategy into operational reality. Our approach combines strong governance with deep organizational integration – creating measurable impact at every levels.

1. Strategic Anchoring Through Firm C-Level Commitment

Our executive leadership fully supports our ESG objectives and actively embeds them into business decisions and growth plans. This ensures that sustainability is not treated as an add on, but as a core element of our value creation strategy.

2. ESG Onboarding as a Catalyst for Organization Wide Impact

New employees participate in a tailored ESG onboarding program where we outline our priorities, regulatory landscape, and the importance of their individual role within. We emphasize that sustainability is a collective effort and that every contribution matters. Individual ESG engagement is made visible – for example in team meetings, leadership settings, and All Hands sessions.

3. The maincubes Impact Network: Participation Drives Ownership

Through the Impact Network, employees actively shape our social initiatives. They select volunteering and donation projects and directly contribute to our societal engagement. A key component is our Lean In Circle – a peer platform that fosters personal growth, professional development, and mutual support.

4. Continuous and Collaborative Dialogue with Decision Makers

Our regular alignment sessions with leaders go beyond governance– they create a space for open and constructive dialogue. Together, we review progress, identify challenges, and co create solutions that are both strategically sound and operationally feasible. This collaborative approach strengthens alignment, builds trust, enhances innovation, and reinforces a shared sense of responsibility.

5. Systematic Learning as the Foundation for Capability Building

Embedding ESG in the organization requires deep and widely distributed knowledge. We therefore offer targeted learning formats across all three ESG dimensions – from environmental and energy topics to social and governance issues. Building this capability strengthens operational performance and advances organizational maturity.
